My neighbourhood!

           I live in Pallini, a calm city a few kilometers far from the center of Athens. Pallini is a very small and beautiful city. It is a city, but when you visit it, you feel that you are in the open air.

          My neighbourhood is one of the most beautiful neighbourhoods in Pallini. It is near the biggest church of Pallini. There aren’t a lot of shops with clothes but there are lots of cafés, bakers, banks, bookshops, fast foods and schools! It has a very big square with a playground. It also has a stadium, a cinema and the metro nearby.

          In my neighbourhood there aren’t many villas or big houses, but it is full of blocks of apartments. It hasn’t got night life, but in the afternoons all the children go to the square. In Pallini there is a known street, called Marathon street, that it connects Marathon with Athens.

         My city and especially my neighbourhood is wonderful and I want to live here forever!!!

 My neighbourhood
 I will tell you about my neighborhood. I live in Maroussi, a big and beautiful neighborhood, in Athens. Maroussi has a lot of trees and flowers ! The view from my window is amazing, I can see the mountain of Parnitha and many trees.  

My neighborhood has got many shops for clothes and shoes. There are restaurants and a few night clubs. There are also many houses, buildings of companies and a lot of schools. There are a hospital, a fire station, a post office, shopping centers and many cinemas.

 Description of your neighbourhood

     I live in Maroussi, a well-known suburb of Athens, as Olympic Games of 2004, took place there. My neighbourhood is like a village, because it is quiet and the neighbours are friends with each other. Also my neighbourhood has got many children and we all play together in the quiet streets because there are almost no cars.

     Another interesting place of my neighbourhood is the Museum of Natural History, which many schools visit, because there are almost all kinds of animals there. In front of my house there are a lot of trees because of a park, where we can play. Finally my neighbourhood has got an old hospital “Sismanoglio” which serves the health needs of the ill people of Athens.

     I believe that I am so lucky to live in such a beautiful, quiet and friendly neighbourhood

 My neighbourhood

Hi,

            I' m Loukia and I live in Neo-Herakleon in Athens. Neo-Herakleon is a big area near Nea-Ionia, which has many things to do. It has parks, churches and in the center many restaurants and cafes. Also at the center is the train, which is very helpful to go to other areas. On  Neo-Herakleon avenue there are many shops, where I often go shopping with my friends. There are many cinemas as well. The most famous is “Tria Asteria”, which means “Three Stars”. This cinema is a theatre too.

My neighbourhood 
My name is Pericles and I live  in Chalandri a suburb of Athens.I live in Pindou str.My house is next to the horse riding club.I usually go there with my friends and see the horses.30 m.south of my house there is a sports field where we play football.The primary school that I used to go to is about 70-80 meters from my house.

My neighborhood

  I live in Pallini, a beautiful city with many parks to visit. It’s near Imittos, we go there every Sunday.

 My neighborhood is near the park, so every evening me and my brother go there to play with our friends. Also there is a creperie, which makes very good chocolate crepes and a small shopping center.

  There is always something interesting for young children like afternoon activities. They can go there and learn how to dance or draw. 

   I love my neighborhood and I hope one day you will visit it.

  My neighborhood

I live in a suburb of Athens named Cholargos.

 My neighborhood is amazing, it is small but it is a very interesting place. It has got 2 football courts and I play there every afternoon. All the neighbours are very friendly so I have a good relationship with them. Near my house there is a supermarket so we can buy cheese, meat, fruit... from there every day except Sundays. In front of my house there is a pharmacy and it is very helpful for my grandma who lives with us because she buys all her pills from there.

 The negative side of my neighborhood is that we can’t find space for our car very easily because it is a busy place and it has a lot of noise. On the next floor there is a horrible dog who barks all the time and I can’t do my homework.

Anyway I love my neighborhood and I want to stay there all my life.

  My Neighborhood

Since I was born I’ve lived in quite a small suburb of Athens called Nea Kifissia. It is a lovely neighborhood with tall trees and generally a lot of green. In the past it was full of detached houses but now there are some blocks of flats. In our neighborhood we have many animals, like dogs and cats.

Although it a peaceful neighborhood. It’s near the center of Kifissia and to the metro station. So, you can go wherever you want. There is also a small circular square, where me and my friends get together and talk, play and listen to music. We also have a concert every 27^th October. I love my neighborhood and I want to live there for the rest of my life.

Hi there!

In your last letter you asked me about my neighbourhood. Well I live in Maroussi which is a suburb of Athens. From my house you can see two mountains and almost all the suburbs of Athens. It has a pretty nice view especially at night.

My neighbourhood is near the centre of Maroussi but it's quiet. It has lots of trees and a small park where I used to play when I was younger. There aren't any restaurants or shops, maybe one or two, but it is fine because we are almost next to the train station.

I'm near a sports center called O.A.K.A.. You might have heard it from the Olympic Games. In Maroussi there is scarouchi's Museum, a famous greek painter museum.

I love my neighbourhood and I would never change it!

MY NEIGHBOURHOOD

  I live in Artemis, a small seaside town. I do not live in the centre of the town and my neighbourhood is sparsely populated.

  You can see the sea from my home. We have some tourists also, mostly in the summer. The best things of my town are the sea and the restaurants.

  When the weather is good, I love going to the beach with my friends. Also during the night I like to lie in the garden and watch the sky and the stars. The only things that I hate are the airplanes and the fact that there are not many kids in my neighbourhood.

MY NEIGHBOURHOOD

I live in Marousi , in a small neighbourhood. My neighbourhood is very quiet. My house is near the Olympic Stadium where the 2004 Olympic Games took place. Furthermore the Olympic Stadium is the home ground of my favourite basketball team Panathinaikos and I often go to watch them play.

Also nearby there is The Mall Shopping Center where you can find a lot of restaurants, a cinema and the Bowling center. I usually go there with my friends and we have a lot of fun.

I love my neighbourhood and I like to invite my friends and go to all the interesting places.

I live in Lykovrysi. There aren’t many things to do. However, it’s nice.

  There are lots of trees in my neighborhood. There’s a little forest nearby. You can go for a walk or for jogging. In the summer it is cooler and in the winter it has more heat than the other parts of the city.

  Next to my home there is the junior high school of Lykovrysi. I like going to it and playing basketball alone, with my brother or with other children.

I love my neighborhood!

I live in a neighbourhood in Kifissia. My neighbourhood is small without many places for entertainment. There are many houses with gardens. There is a minimarket and a school. Down the road there are a baker’s, a flower shop, a greengrocer’s and a kiosk. In my neighbourhood there are many trees and a lot of green.
